The book summarizes the results of twenty-year-olds (1983-2003) studies in the field of the archeology of the Stone Age, carried out by the author consisting of the Soviet-Yemen (since 1992 of the Russian) expedition in the Republic of Yemen. During this time, more than a hundred monuments of the Paleolithic, Neolithic and Tustereolite were identified and investigated. The unique among them are the monuments of Oldova, which open up a new aspect of problems regarding the time and paths of the initial resettlement of man from his ancestral home - East Africa - to the Asian continent. The stratified Ashel and upperpaleolithic monuments are informative. The new layer of culture of the late Neolithic and the Bronze Age is open on the monuments of the coastal strip of the Aden Bay. Studies make it possible to characterize not only the material culture of the territory under consideration at various stages of its development, but also the conditions of the environment of ancient people
