Exciting, intricate plot, vivid characters, fast-paced narrative, powerful climax, and unpredictable denouement - all of this can be found in two novels about the private detective Sergey Krasnov by the famous detective genre master Andrey Badin. In the first novel, a beautiful billionaire suffering from partial memory loss hires Sergey to spy on herself and record all her adventures on video. Soon, he finds himself entangled in her love affairs, and the next morning he is arrested on suspicion of killing the beauty's husband - oligarch German Frein. In the second novel, the detective is asked to install hidden cameras in a club of wealthy debauchees, but after what seemed like a simple job, bullets started whizzing past him, and tough guys started tailing him. The novel "Toppled" was adapted into a popular TV movie "Boomerang" in 2008 (directed by Dean Makhameddinov, starring Alexey Kravchenko, Olesya Sudzilovskaya).
