The book is dedicated to the statistical theory and the continual method of modeling hydrodynamics and heat transfer in dispersed turbulent movements based on kinetic equations for the function of the probability of the speed and temperature of particles of the dispersed phase. The main theoretical problems discussed in the book are associated with the interaction of particles with turbulent vortices of the carrier continuous environment and clashes of particles with each other in turbulent flows. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of the battery (clustering) of particles in parietal and homogeneous turbulence. Examples of the presented statistical models consider the behavior of particles in isotropic, uniform shift and preferent turbulence.
