The textbook provides a comprehensive analysis of space policy - a rather specific and multifaceted sphere that in the 20th century became one of the most important directions of state activity and continues to be so today. By considering space transport as one of the types of public transport, the authors identify its internal and external political significance, which it has acquired over several decades of its existence and which tends to steadily increase. Special attention is paid to studying the historical experience of state regulation of space activities in leading foreign countries, as well as to understanding the peculiarities of the formation and implementation of space policy in the USSR and modern Russia. Legislation is provided as of January 1, 2023. For specialists in the field of state policy and management in the field of space transport, and for all those interested in this issue in its theoretical and applied aspects.
