Shaobha Dha was born in the city of Maharashtra in 1948 and studied in Delhi and Bombay. She graduated from St. Javier College to Bombay with a degree in psychology, and a journalist career began in 1970. She was the founder and editor of three popular magazines - "Star dust", "Society" "Celebrity", - and was also a consulting editor in the magazines "Sunday" and "Megasiti". Currently, it is a freelance journalist and a columnist in several newspapers and magazines, including such as "times of India", "politician" and "Sunday Observer". In 1988, she wrote her first novel - bestseller "friendly evenings". Shobha Da is married, she has six children, she lives in the city of Bombay
