The Clone Wars have begun. The entire galaxy is engulfed in battles, and with each planet that joins the Separatists, the peace protected by the Jedi Order is destroyed.
Cato Neimoidia, the jewel of the Trade Federation, is destroyed in an explosion. The Republic is blamed for the incident, endangering the planet's fragile neutrality. The Jedi send Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most gifted diplomatic minds of the Order, to uncover the crime and restore the balance that has dangerously shifted. The investigation, conducted with the help of the heroic Neimoidian guard, leads him to the Separatists, who plan to involve all inhabitants of Cato Neimoidia in a conspiracy. But besides this, Kenobi senses the ominous hand of Asajj Ventress in the mist shrouding the planet.
Against the backdrop of impending chaos, Anakin Skywalker is knighted as a Jedi. Despite the assignment instructing Obi-Wan to fly solo, and all the insistence from his former apprentice to listen to him just this once, nothing can stop Anakin from crashing the party, following his former teacher and bringing along a promising yet conflicting youngling.
Once Obi-Wan's Padawan, Anakin is now on equal footing with the man who raised him. Long-standing tensions between them increase the danger for everyone around them. The two knights must learn to work together again—and quickly, to save Cato Neimoidia and its people from the fires of war. To overcome the threat they face, they must grow beyond master and apprentice. They must stand together as brothers.
"In addition to the grand and tense narrative, one of the best aspects of immersing oneself in 'Star Wars' novels is the thoughtful character development. And in this 'Brotherhood' succeeds. The novel reaches heights, adding depth to the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin." — The HoloFiles
"A novel written in the spirit of the 'Clone Wars' animated series. Swift pace, politics, lightsabers, and Asajj Ventress. Fills in some gaps in what was happening at the beginning of the 'Clone Wars' and how the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan evolves after Anakin becomes a Jedi Knight." — Hawkeye Mc
"— Alright, you owe me, and not for the ten times I saved you.
— Nine, buddy. What happened on Cato Neimoidia doesn't count." — "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith"
