In the pre -revolutionary Russian Empire, the Russian question did not exist. There was a Russian people with their 1000 -year history, there was a state named by the name of this people, other peoples, either themselves, which were included in Russia, or annexed to it, were involved in this education. After October 1917, the situation changed dramatically. In fact, the Bolshevik party immediately began a constant struggle against the state for the forming people. The final stage is the "Leningrad business". The case to this day remains one of the most mysterious and poorly studied trials of Stalin"s time
