Fedor Ivanovich Tyutchev, as no other in the history of Russian literature, proved that poetry is a special kind of knowledge of being, able to compete with the philosophy itself. A brilliant diplomat, who served for many years abroad, a statesman who was awarded the title of the secret adviser, Tyutchev did not seek glory and did not seek to publish his writings. The first collection of his poems - with the help of I.S. Romegenev - appeared in the press, when the author was already a mature man.
