The textbook is prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education for students in the field of study 030900.68 'Jurisprudence' (qualification 'Master'). The textbook consists of 11 chapters and provides a systematic presentation of the following topics: sports as a sphere of legal regulation, the system of sources of sports law and its features, peculiarities of regulating the components (elements) of sports, sports subjects, social security and medical assistance in sports, regulation of the organization of sports events, taxation in the field of sports, violations and responsibilities in the field of sports, dispute resolution in the field of sports, sports arbitration, foreign models of legal regulation of sports, Russia and the sports policy of the European Union. Legislation is provided as of March 2016. The textbook is intended for master's students, lawyers, attorneys, heads of all-Russian and regional sports federations, sports clubs, managers, athletes, coaches, sports doctors, and will also be of interest to anyone interested in the legal regulation of physical culture and sports.
