In an old manuscript, a professor of mineralogy Otto Lidenbrock finds an encrypted manuscript. Axel, a young nephew and an assistant scientist, helps to decipher secret letters. This is an encrypted message from the Icelandic alchemist. The message indicates that there is a certain opportunity to get to the very center of the Earth. And the path there lies through the crater of the Icelandic volcano Sniphedles. The professor and his nephew, together with the guide, decide to go to the very heart of the earth - towards prehistoric creatures and the unknown mysterious world
