The book covers a wide range of practical issues regarding the urgent problem of building targeted training athletes striving to achieve high sports results. This applies to the preparation of both young and adult qualified athletes. The presentation is based on data from modern scientific and methodological literature. At the same time, sources were used, little -known or inaccessible to the Russian reader. Of course, the many years of personal experience of the authors, accompanied by the training of athletes of various levels of skill, was also actively used in writing a book. The authors sought to present the material available to coaches, avoiding complex formulations and structures.
