The Royal Fortress is the king’s defensive position in the debut and Mittelshpile. Its walls are determined by the pedestrian structure: at fortress No. 1, the pawns are in the initial position, that is, on F7, G7, H7 (or F2, G2, H2) The authors explain in detail how to attack and how to protect this fortress, in what debuts it is found. Classic examples that every cultural chess player need to know are interspersed with episodes from the parties of our contemporaries. The book has about 300 positions for an independent solution, so this is not only a textbook, but also a solid task task.
