Psychodiagnostics in the training system of athletes. Textbook

The textbook presents the current state, understanding and significance of psychodiagnostics in the training system of athletes. The concept, content, tasks, methods of psychodiagnostics of personality during sports are revealed. Methods of diagnosing mental processes, personality properties, states and interpersonal relationships that manifest themselves in the process of classes and sports are presented. The use of the presented psychodiagnostics techniques in coaching practice will allow a specialist to identify the professionally important psychological qualities of playing sports, and will make it possible to fully realize an individual approach in the training, education and preparation of athletes for competitions.
