The book considers ancient Rus" as a historical and cultural whole throughout the X-XVII centuries. When developing an approach to the object of study, the author considers the Christian concept of "conscience" as a kind of vector indicating eternity, as well as the coordinates of the speculative space in which this vector is placed. Next, a reorientation of public consciousness in ancient Rus" is traced, starting from the moment of its Christianization. The book refers to the emergence of Slavic writing, about the assimilation of Christian culture, about its chronicle, about the Orthodox revision of the XIV-XV centuries, which so strongly influenced the revival of Russia after its defeat Tatar-Mongols and the subsequent section between the Golden Horde and Lithuania, about Old Russian Saints and their distribution in time, about the social topic in ancient Russian literature, the evolution of Russian missionary and about the present-time of ancient Russia of the present tense throughout the world.
