The monograph defines theoretical and methodological foundations of sports training in mini-golf. The historical and social aspects, the goal and rules of the game are considered. Anatomical description of game actions, their physical and physiological foundations is given. The reasons that determine the accuracy of moving the ball are described, the parameters and characteristics of the balls and clubs for mini-golf are considered.
The features of the actions of various sensory organs when playing mini-golf are considered, the methods of developing kinesthetic sensations are described, recommendations are given on the content of training in mini-golf at many years of training, in the annual cycle and individual training sessions. Mental fears are described in the game and methods of regulating mental states in competitions.
Methods of monitoring and forecasting of sports achievements in mini-golf are separately considered using statistical methods and methods for analyzing time series of results. The possibilities of using special and standard statistical computer programs are described.
The monograph is addressed to coaches, teachers and teaching instructors in physical education, students and graduate students of the corresponding specialties, whose activities are related to golf, mini-golf and other types of motor activity, requiring the manifestation of target accuracy.
