For six years, Michael Donald traveled around the world and met with the authors of the great goals, starting with Alcides Giji, who brought the victory of the Uruguay national team in 1950, to Mario Getz, thanks to which Germany received the World Cup in 2014.
The project was completed after the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Then all 34 players you will find on the pages of this book were alive, and now Alsides Gija, Joseph Masopust, Zito, Carlos Alberto Torres and Dick Nanning, unfortunately, left us. Now on the planet there are only 29 people who can say: "I scored a goal in the final match of the World Cup."
