England in the mid -19th century is experiencing an industrial boom: factories rumble, new steel workshops are being built, railways are laid. But the little gypsy Annie, who, together with his family, drives in a wagon along the roads of Britain, is nicer in green meadows, wildflowers and trills of a lark. The baby’s life changes overnight: father dies, and a nine -year -old girl is sold at a fair as a servant. Annie is in the house of the famous boxer Bill Perry, a giant with the soul of a child, and a completely new world of fist fights, a world of pain and excitement, promising unknown adventures, but also melting a lot of dangers.
Skillful historical stylization, full of dickens of intonations, draws the image of a fragile, but strong spirit of a young warrior, ready to meet with an enemy of any weight category
