In this educational and methodological manual, technical techniques of owning a knife and protection from blows with a knife are presented. The following issues are considered: the history of the knife, domestic combat traditions, ethnography, legal aspects of wearing and applying a knife from the perspective of modern conditions, as well as the provision of first aid and psychological training. The main preparatory exercises, strokes and methods of protecting with a knife, the technique of conducting a fight with a knife, as well as the methodology for learning knife battle are given.
