Drones - their application and countermeasures. Tutorial

This textbook was developed at the course of the discipline “Combat (operational) support of hostilities” and is intended for officers, students of institutions with a military center (department), cadets of military schools and students of military academies as the main and additional material in the study of military disciplines. The relevance of the manual is that the materials set forth in the training manual are based on the provisions of new requirements for the fight against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The manual discusses the use of drones (UAVs) and their classification is given. Examples of their combat use in the Syrian Arab Republic are widely represented, the experience of using and fighting drones during a special operation in Ukraine is taken into account. The manual introduces the reader to the terminology, with the classification of the UAV, which has developed today, with their device, the composition of the on -board equipment and the principles of control. Also, the manual sets out the procedure for organizing protection against drones, describes the means and methods of combating them. The material will also be useful to the heads of security services of private companies, SOOP, information security specialists, officers of the FSO, the Russian Guard and other law enforcement agencies who are faced with illegal actions from criminal structures
