The textbook is written in accordance with the requirements of the training program for boxing specialists in higher educational institutions studying in areas 49.03.04 "Sports", profile" sports training by sport (boxing), "Pedagogical activity in the field of physical culture and sports" and 49.03.03 .01 - "Physical Culture", profile "sports training in chosen sport".
The book implements the works of leading scientists and coaches to justify the main provisions of the theory and methodology of boxing, reflecting the modern level of its development. The history of boxing is considered, recommendations for the study of technology and tactics are given, effective ways to improve the training of athletes and specialists (trainers) in this discipline are revealed. A course of the theory and technique of teaching boxing has been set out, a set of professional and pedagogical techniques for pedagogical and coaching work in various links of the state system of physical education is presented.
