The reference guide is prepared based on the analysis of the current regulatory framework regulating the interaction between institutions and bodies of the penal system with registered religious associations in places of deprivation of liberty, the results of scientific-theoretical research conducted by the teaching staff of the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, as well as methodological materials developed for conducting religious and social work. Legislation is provided as of April 20, 2023. Intended for employees of the penal system and clergy of religious associations involved in implementing the rights to freedom of conscience of individuals in places of deprivation of liberty.
