When all the problems in Rubinhagen are resolved, Holo, Lawrence, and Nora decide to celebrate. However, Holo suddenly feels unwell and, sadly, loses consciousness in the midst of the festivities. How will Lawrence take care of Holo when he sees her in such a state? This concluding volume of the story titled "Spice and Wolf: Amber Melancholy" is the first in the series to be written from Holo's perspective.
In addition to this, the book includes two more stories previously published in the magazine "Dengeki," which received many positive reviews. The first one is called "The Boy, the Girl, and the White Flowers," and it tells about Holo's travels before meeting Lawrence. The second story, titled "Red Apples and Blue Sky," describes how Holo and Lawrence go shopping together.
