Sergey Zavyalov (born 1958, Tsarskoye Selo) made his debut in Leningrad samizdat in the mid-1980s, was included in the club-81. In the 1990s, he taught the ancient Greek and Latin languages and literature. Since 2004 he lives in Finland. The author of three poems written by the free verse quasi-logaaadic type, in which evolution from high modernity to minimalism is clearly observed. These are no longer lyrical free poems, but the epic compositions in prose.
