This is a story about the legendary hero of the ancient world, Spartan Xantippe. He really saved the Carthage from the capture of the Romans in the First Punic War, and the Carthaginians really paid him black ingratitude. According to the sources that have come down to us, Xantippus was saved, but nowhere is it said about his future life. The author managed to recreate the heroic story of a warrior, full of battles, adventures and dangers, and we can assume that a lot of things told here have actually happened
