The monograph "Soviet Philosophy of Consciousness: Studies in the History of Ideas" explores the genesis of the philosophical theory of consciousness in the Soviet Union in the second half of the 20th century. Its formation and development were primarily carried out through the confrontation and polemical dialogue between supporters of the cultural-historical and transcendental approaches in consciousness studies. The Appendix contains texts by E.V. Ilyenkov, M.K. Mamardashvili, and M. Lifshitz, which are unknown to a wide range of readers, along with historical and scientific commentaries. The book is aimed at philosophers and psychologists, as well as anyone interested in the nature and structure of consciousness, the history of domestic culture, and philosophical thought.
