The hero of this book is the famous domestic sound engineer, one of the founders of the Russian sound engineering school Igor Veprintsev. David Oistrakh, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Rodion Shchedrin, Emil Gilels, Svyatoslav Richter, Mstislav Rostropovich, Alfred Schnita and many other famous musicians, fruitfully collaborated with him.
