Soul Catchers. The Case of the Werebear.

A quiet village on the outskirts of a poor remote province is shaken by a series of brutal murders. Innocent children, lost in the forest, become victims of a raging beast. Broken trees, traces of paws and claws, bodies torn beyond recognition point to a rabid man-eating bear. But is that really the case? St. Petersburg detectives from a special department fighting maniacs, led by Roman Muromtsev, take on the investigation. The team finds clues indicating the guilt of a cold-blooded killer, not a rampaging animal. The provincial authorities are inactive and stubbornly turn a blind eye to the evidence. Local residents blame the atrocities on a certain berolak - a half-man, half-bear. Fearless detectives embark on a methodical hunt for the "werewolf" to prevent new victims from appearing.
