You are holding in your hands a reader for students of the 2nd grade of a children"s music school. The compilation of this collection is caused by the need to have at hand, in one textbook a sufficient amount of musical and pedagogical material for learning a child to play piano throughout the year. The collection includes works from many previously published textbooks, allowing to solve the problems of this period of training. In accordance with the program requirements of the Children"s School of School and the DSH, works that are the following sections were included in the textbook: polyphony, large form, plays, sketches and ensembles. Despite the fact that the collection does not use plays from Anna Magdalena Bach’s musical notebook, "Children"s Album" P. Tchaikovsky, sketches of K. Cherni and A. Lemoan, as well as other well -known and undoubtedly necessary works presented Artistic and instructive material is quite wide and allows you to choose the required number of works to work with a student of grade 2, taking into account his individuality. The material has a clear division into sections, inside which is built in terms of complexity. The entire selection and systematization of works was a reflection of well-known pedagogical principles and equally the result of many years of experience with children of the authors-compilers
