You are holding in your hands a textbook of a pedagogical repertoire for students of the 1st grade of a children"s music school. The compilation of this collection is caused by the need to have at hand, in one textbook a sufficient amount of musical and pedagogical material for learning a child to play piano throughout the year. The collection includes plays from many previously published textbooks, allowing to solve the problems of this period of training. In accordance with the program requirements of the Children"s School of School and the DSH, works that are the following sections were included in the textbook: polyphony, large form, plays, sketches and ensembles. Extensive artistic and instructive material allows you to choose a sufficient number of plays for the acquisition and consolidation of knowledge and skills, taking into account the individual capabilities of the student. Due to the features of the initial period of training, the material is not divided into sections, but is presented on the principle of gradual complication. The entire selection and systematization of works was a reflection of well-known pedagogical principles and equally the result of many years of experience with children of the authors-compilers.
