Composer, pianist and teacher Konstantin Romanovich Eiges (1875-1950) - graduate of the Moscow Conservatory. His teachers were S. I. Taneyev (Polyphonia), M. M. Ippolitov-Ivanov (composition), A. A. Yaroshevsky (piano) In his own work, the musician became the successor of the traditions of Taneyev and Scriabin. The piano works make up the main part of the Eiges"s composer heritage. Many of his plays to this day are included in the pedagogical repertoire of children"s music schools and art schools (four children"s plays Op. 43, two plays by the Op. 44 and others).
