Johann Mattezon (1681-1764) is a German composer, critic and theorist, whose works have become the most important source of knowledge about the music of the 18th century. The heritage of Mattezon has 88 theoretical and didactic tracts in which he addresses the main issues of musical art. The composer heritage of Mattezon is not numerous, but diverse. A special place in it is occupied by large -form works - operas, oratorios, passions.
The present publication includes selected clavier works, in terms of complexity, available to students of the middle and senior classes of the Children"s School and Schools. The collection will also be interesting to students of creative educational institutions and lovers of piano music
