This collection is intended for high school students in children"s music schools and children"s art schools, music colleges and conservatory, as well as for professional musicians.
The goal of the collection is to update and expand the repertoire for the ensemble game on string instruments. The collection consists of nine diverse, distinguished plays of Russian and foreign composers. Seven plays are written for the composition: two violins and two cello. Two plays - for the classic composition of the string quartet. The arrangements are made taking into account the technical capabilities of young performers and the specifics of the sound of instruments.
Most of the plays are first arranged for this performance. And some of them, such as the aria of the genius of the cold from the opera "King Arthur" G. Persella, the quartet from the opera "Rigoletto" J. Verdi, the romance of S. Rachmaninov "did not sing, the beauty was unlikely to have an instrumental reading at all. The last play of the collection is a potpourri on the topics of dance salon music, popular in Russia in the late XIX - early XX centuries, the little -known composers of Franz Bauer, Nikolai Mirsky, Theodore Rodde.
All plays were included in the repertoire of the chamber ensembles of St. Petersburg GBU to the Tsarskoye Selo Arts of Arts named after Anna Andreevna Akhmatova. "
