Toyvo Kuul (1883–1918) - Finnish composer and conductor, a bright representative of the romantic direction in the Finnish music of the turn of the XIX - XX centuries. He studied the compositions under the leadership of Jan Sibelius, worked as a conductor in different cities of Finland, from 1916 he led the Vyborg city orchestra until the end of his life. He created a number of vocal, choral and orchestral works, as well as many plays for piano, in which he reflected the flavor of Finnish folk music.
