The violinist of amazing talent and the happy fate of Pablo de Sarasate (1844-1908) revealed a new type of virtuosity to the world. His composer style primarily influenced the formation of the musical language of composers of the Spanish school: Isaac Albenis, Manuel de Fali, Enrique Granados. Incredibly gifted with melodic talent, Sarasata drew his inspiration in folk music. The collection includes the brightest opuses in which the composer resorted to folklore material and the use of quasi-folk topics.
