This textbook presents a material covering issues of the theory and practice of vocal and chorus work with the children"s singing team. Choral singing is considered by the author as the basis of domestic musical culture and as a means of general and specific education of children. Based on the generalization of the experience of vocal work with both children and adults, methodological conclusions are made that allow readers to understand the essence and significance of various approaches to training in singing.
The manual is addressed to students of music faculties, music teachers of secondary schools, chormists, undergraduates and graduate students involved in the problems of vocal education of students. Previously, the book was published under the name "Chorovoy Singing at School".
