Jacques-Fereol Mazas (1782–1849)-French composer, conductor, violinist and teacher, creator of operas and chamber-instrumental essays, accompanist of the Italian opera in Paris, remained in history as the author of instructive collections for violinists: sketches, variations, etc. Mazas"s sketches have long and firmly entered the pedagogical repertoire of violin.
