10 preludes, op. 23 are one of the most popular works of S. V. Rachmaninov (1873-1943) The cycle was created for a long period of time, and therefore does not represent a complete one, all preludes are diverse in a genre sense, and each has a complete independent form. Nevertheless, there is the unity of the "internal" content, the kinship of textured features, a certain connection of the late-tonal relations. The brightness, vitality of images, the wealth of expressive means and textures ensured Rachmaninov"s preludes wide recognition and love of the audience.
