The Czech composer, teacher and performer David Popper (1843-1913) can be called the last “musical universal genius”, who made a brilliant world-class career as an orchestra, a chamber musician, soloist and teacher. Popper outlined his rich pedagogical experience in a number of manuals, among which 40 sketches of the "higher school of the game on cello" ORs are of paramount importance. 73.
