Henry Longfello (1807-1882) - a brilliant American poet, awarded fame even during life. His popularity in America was so high that on the day of the death of Longfello in the country was declared mourning. He was considered a singer of national culture, he presented his compatriots "Divine Comedy", translating the immortal creation of Dante into English. "Song of Guyavate" - without a doubt, the best work of Longfello. The Hero of the Poem is the Indian leader of Gayavata, able to hear the Voices of Nature, is an example of amazing courage and nobility.
