The story of how an unbelieving officer, a military journalist, became a church writer and poet, author of numerous books and brochures on Christian themes. All events described in this book actually happened. The author, Monk Varnava (Sanin), well known to Orthodox readers, candidly and impartially describes his life path, which led him to St. Varnava of Gethsemane, the Miracle Worker, and then to taking monastic vows. Everything that happened to him convincingly testifies that there is nothing random in our lives, but everything is subject to a certain plan called the Providence of God.
