With drawings, solutions, hints, and answers.
The book is intended for students in grades 3-4. Caring parents and educators will also find it immensely helpful in working with children.
The book consists of three sections:
1) Problems on motion. This section includes problems on motion in one direction, problems on meeting motion, and problems on motion in opposite directions.
2) Geometric problems. This section includes tasks on constructing geometric figures, measuring the length of a geometric figure or its sides, problems on finding the perimeter, area, and sides of a geometric figure.
3) Combinatorial problems. This section includes the simplest combinatorial problems included in the school curriculum, which can be solved in various ways. Each section includes theoretical information (mathematical definitions, formulas), an example of solving a problem with an explanation, a drawing (or diagram), and also offers problems for independent solving. At the end of the book, there are answers to all problems with solutions and comments. Some problems have hints to help the student determine the order of solving.
