Solfeggio is one of the most important disciplines in music education, along with elementary music theory, harmony, polyphony, and analysis of musical works. Artem Petrovich Agazhanov (1913-1989) was a musicologist, teacher of music theory disciplines, and a professor at the Moscow Conservatory. This manual is the first of three volumes of the solfeggio course for students of music schools.
