From 1918 to 1960, the author"s family has lived in Losinka - so local residents called the village of Losinoostrovsky near Moscow, which grew up at the beginning of the 20th century near the huge forest - the Elosine Island - and the same name of the Yaroslavl Railway railway station. Now in these places there are Moscow regions of Sviblovo and Medvedkovo, and there is no trace from the village. Maxim collected the memories of his grandfather Nikolai Morozovsky, letters from the family archive, the testimony of other former losinka residents, fragments of historical research and wrote a book telling about our past
