The novel of the famous Russian writer Boris Minaev is the second part of the dilogy "soft fabric". Events of centenary limitations are actively rhymed by the author with the problems of the current era, and the private life of ordinary people is under the scope of history. Familiar to us on the novel "Batist" Dr. Vlensky, brothers Kanevsky and sisters Stein, revolutionary soldiers and the leaders of the peasant armies, investigators of the NKVD and poets, dentists and army bakers - they all form a "soft cloth" of the life, which are trying to tear into parts of war and revolution . The main drive of the plot in the novel is, nevertheless, not history, but human ties and personal events: love, separation, the desire to protect yourself from hatred and cruelty, attempt to heal to the bottom of life
