This course of lectures is a logical continuation of the previous work of the same authors “Sociology of world civilizations” (M.: Academic Project, 2014) The innovation of this publication is due to its very topic - the consideration of world integration processes, that is, the rapprochement (association) of various social and other structures. In the 21st century, two global trends compete in the world - integration (rapprochement) and disintegration (clash) of world civilizations. In the struggle of these trends, the formation and development of the new world society occurs. This course of lectures proposes new categories and methods for studying world integration processes. Integration is considered by authors not only as the economic activity of integrated subjects/objects, but also as a process of interaction and development of world civilizations, state associations, social and ethnic communities. It is addressed to everyone who is interested in the sociology of international relations and world politics, the socio-political aspects of globalization and modern world order
