Project activities as one of the directions of educational work in schools are aimed at solving tasks provided by the Federal State Educational Standard. Involving students in project activities helps develop communication and research skills, the ability to identify problems and find ways to solve them, and also increases interest in learning. The manual includes programs such as "Young Tracker" (extracurricular activities in primary school), "I Want to Know Everything" (additional education in middle school), "Individual Project" (for 10-11th grades), methodological recommendations for organizing projects in social studies, history, and law for grades 5-11. The authors reveal the specifics of project research technology, characterize its results, present educational project developments, and suggest possible project topics. The manual contains fragments of research projects carried out by students under the guidance of the authors. This educational manual is intended for history and social studies teachers, as well as methodologists.
