The textbook has been developed in accordance with all the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard (FGOS) approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated May 31, 2021. In the textbook "Social and Scientific Subjects. Financial Literacy. New World" for students in grades 5-7, current practical issues of financial literacy, real-life situations in the world of family finances, and examples from literary works are considered. The feature of the textbook is the presentation of educational material as a literary-cosmic journey, during which participants get acquainted with financial terminology, analyze financial problems, identify financial threats and risks, and seek ways to improve the financial well-being of the family by attracting supernumerary sources of income. Education is carried out through active involvement of the learner in financial events by solving situational tasks and performing creative assignments, using cases, quests, puzzles, developing practical recommendations. Completing practical tasks gives the student the opportunity to find multiple solutions to financial problems and understand the need to consider a combination of factors affecting family finances. This edition is the first. Approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
