The proposed monograph is a comprehensive, complete and detailed study of the norms of inheritance by will in Anglo-American law in comparison with Russian law. All related institutions, its surrogates were investigated in detail: lifetime and posthumous trusts, co -owners, posthumous gifts and inheritance agreements in general law and all the substitutes of will in Russian law (a testamentary disposal of a banking account and the first time hereditary agreement) In addition to the legislation, an extensive precedent practice and doctrine are given. All institutions are considered in evolutionary order with the analysis of their origin and development in general law and justice, as well as in comparison with Russian and Romano-German institutions that perform similar functions. The publication is distinguished by the depth of analysis of the history, modern state and trends in the development of inheritance law and the practice of its application, the professional use of the method of comparative law in the field of private law, as well as immersion in the law being studied. The author critically approaches the established doctrines and novels of Russian hereditary law. The monograph is intended for lawyers in the field of international, hereditary and investment law, researchers of Americanists, teachers, graduate students and students of law universities, as well as all those interested in general right and comparative law. In addition, it will be useful to financiers and investors who have assets in the UK, the USA and General Law.
