The monograph answers complex issues of civilizational evolution related to erosion of ideas about the ultimate goals of history that dominated the self -awareness of the geopolitical forces of the 20th century. It implements the concept of cognitology, the initial principle of which is the recognition of the autonomy of the sphere of the mind, the truth of which is determined by their transformation into reality, the differences in the truth of self -awareness are considered, depending on the nature of the civilizational subject as a person, which has an internal constant of the meaning of life, or a collective subject in its various ethnic ones, social and historical qualities, as well as various interpretations of the reality of the ideal as a factor that contributes to human self -preservation and his self -demonstration. It is proved that the truth of self-awareness is not the truth of the reflection of what is, but the truth of self-formation, dictating the need for the moral reincarnation of modern mankind, which faces the threat of a nuclear apocalypse. The monograph defines the path of the formation of mankind as a single civilizational subject, revealing the general universal truth of his self -awareness
