Arthur Schopenhauer is one of the most famous thinkers of irrationalism. Schopenhauer"s views and research influenced many famous philosophers. In his works, the thinker is pessimistic analyzes human being and from the same position considers the opinions of his famous predecessors. The philosopher believed that the driving force of everything is a will to life, which gives rise to desires, but even if desires are satisfied, a person is not able to feel happy. The first volume includes two parts of labor "world as a will and representation", as well as the work "Eristry, or the art of winning disputes."
